A Timeout feature
« on: April 15, 2011, 09:11:27 am »
It has happend a few times now that while importing film info from ie:IMDB that PVD hangs, if there was a customisable timer in options that say after x ammount of seconds of searching a link the program kills the search and allows you to try again... I am not sure if on my part it is a network connection issue for example and am not yet sure how to diagnose why the program hangs for an endless amount of time.

I am not fond of using the "kill" process on something that I put so much time into updating just to risk having to start over.

What does it say in the statusbar when it hangs? On which movie?
Start the program with -debug command line parameter and send me the file log.txt from the application folder after it hangs.
Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here! This is the War Room!
