^No responding^ glitch needs a stitch
« on: March 11, 2010, 12:22:14 pm »
It happened on my old rig - only 2GB of Ram, core2 5650
Now I'm working on my new laptop - slightly better config, i.e. 4GB, core2duo 6600

Every time I start PVD I better resist the temptation to use it for at least 5 seconds until it decides I'm allowed to use it, otherwise it freezes, which is sooooo frustrating.

To make editing/saving faster I followed your advice and deleted twitter plugin - works!

Am I the only one suffering from it? Is it cause my DB is currently over 2500 titles?

I cannot do anything else but cling to the lingering hope for this issue eliminated in v 1.0

peace

From my old computer, I remember the long loading times—but not freezing. But, who knows—I might have just got used to not touching it while it was loading. In any case, your loading time seems normal.

Could you start PVD with -debug parameter and send me the log?

Did it freeze in the log you sent?
