+1 for adding
Sound mix and
Color to the information downloaded by the plugin. These would have to go into custom fields for version 0.9 of the program. Perhaps they should be added as standard fields to version 1.0.
I don't think an additional field can be justified on the basis of the data not being available elsewhere, or it not being on a supplementary page most users don't care about. Most users (at least those whose collections include older movies) would agree
Color (i.e., b&w or color) is "important." Most would consider
Sound mix to be unimportant technical trivia, and it's often not even available. On the other hand, most would agree "silent" and perhaps "mono" are important attributes recorded there. Another approach is to combine the "important" attributes into a
Film type field. This is what AllMovies did, even though it was called "Color type" (e.g., the value could be "silent, b&w").
The plugin should simply get the information currently presented on the main page under "Technical Specs." That includes...
While presented this way, these items are classified as "Basic Details." That doesn't mean they're specified for all movies, but they are for most, and there are clear standards for them. This suggests
Sound mix and
Color, like
Runtime, are fields that should have been included as standard fields in the first place.
Aspect ratio also appears under the same heading, but is "Technical Info" and is included on the "Technical Specifications" page (which can be downloaded, if desired).
