yes, that seemed the way to go.
BUT: I unchecked the option "save images in database file". I "saved as"  my
file into a new one. All I got
a folder full of all my posters (which could easily be culled) but the size of my file stayed the
same.

So I don't know what to do...

Hello, I now have a very large .pvd file (900MB/700 movies) and
I would like to reduce it.

Most of the size is due to posters, especially multiple
posters for each movies automatically downloaded thru
TheMovieDB.
 
Do you have any suggestions on how to reduce the size
of my file?

I don't care about the extra posters but I didn't find a way to
delete them that is not going one by one, which is out of the question
(it would take forever).

I tried experimenting with saving posters to an external folder, but
I can't figure out how to get to a reduced file size anyway.

yes it works. got confused with plugins folder instead of template folder.

thanks a bunch for the update: it's great.
 
now, could the viewdate be displayed as first detail
above original title (same font)?

as pointed out, sorting takes care of itself: so all is missing now is
viewdate!!

thanks but i don't see any new options... it looks exactly like previos version.
what am i doing wrong?  where am i supposed to change poster size and actors limit?

Hi svenne,

I love the print layout. Just what I was looking for.

I wonder if you could:
- include viewdate among the details
- allow to trim actors field (sometimes it's huge; two or three lines should do the trick)
- add an option to set the size of the poster (I would like to print a pdf file to be viewed
on my iphone

Hi,

I would like to export my movies in a compact list that only shows:

. thumbnails of poster
. title
. original title
. director
. year
. view date

I'd like it to be ordered by view date (from last to first).
Whatever file format, it should be possible to print it to file
so that I could create a single PDF, easily viewable on my ipad
or any portable devide.

I tried fiddling with the existing templates, but to no success (do not know  any programming).

ANY help MUCH appreciated!!

onto the program. the way it works now (edit mode|open|

IMPawards not working: always "movies not found"
also, if you launch a websearch for the poster on
http://www.movieposterdb.com/ no results given
(only opens the page, search is blank).
