Hi,

Here my results regarding the media scan inside an ISO container:

1) The last mediainfo version with ISO container support is version 0.7.11 (as CAD described already)
2) PVD (current version 0.9.21) doesn't support the media scan inside ISO container
   - tested with the in the package installed mediainfo.dll (ver. 0.7.25) see point 1)
   - also tested with earlier mediainfo.dll than 0.711
3) older versions of PVD (I tested with 0.9.8.20 and 0.9.71) scan and report the audio/video details inside the ISO container

So in the moment the once possibility to include the audio/video details of an ISO container in the database is:
- mount the iso file as virtual drive
- scan the VIDEO_TS folder
- manual remove the *.vob entries from the file path

Hi Cad,

Yes it has.
As far as could find out the ISO container scanning is possible since PVD version 0.9.7.
Meanwhile I have approx. 280 files in ISO format stored on my media server. Approx. 250 of these files respectively the data sets in PVD contain video and audio stream details. And I didn't insert this details manually.

Now I'm looking for the reason, why it don't works anymore as in the past.

Hi at all,

I reinstalled the operating system of my PC (WinXP SP3). But now PVD (ver. 0.9.9.21) don't recognize the correct media information of ISO files anymore (duration, video and audio stream details won't be recognized).
Just the file size is shown.

Do I have to install any additional librarys or additional software (except PVD of course) or is there any option to set for a media scan result as the DVD?

To visualize the description I attached the snapshots of a scanned ISO (test.jpg) and the same data scanned as DVD (test2.jpg).
