I corrected the german translation, it is a bit difficult because I think the English is not perfect, too
Thank you very much, now I got it how to configure the script.
The launch of the configuration script does not work if PVD is stored in a path containing spaces (for example "D:\Personal Video Database") see attached error. (how to embed the screenshot?)
On "Save Config" PVD restarts with the sample movie database instead of the last I had open.
BTW, the duration of the movie is imported to 'Features' instead of 'Duration'.
That would be awesome, because I still prefer iMDb (a little bit)

Ok.
Is it possible to hide the flickering windows or run them minimized? Very annoying when you want wo work with another window/software while importing. Even when I switch to a full screen game, it jumps back to the desktop
Also the PVD window gets bigger and overlaying the taskbar while importing.

Is it normal that importing from IMDb is very slow and screen is flickering from quickly disappearing black windows... also importing does hang when I run it from C:\Program Files\... instead of a temporary directory?

I think "Year" and "Release Date" have stopped working...?
Maybe you can have a look at it? Thanks.Edit: Fixed it somewhat... running the normal imdb.dll in the middle of the two scripts seems to add them. So my script looks like this now:
EXECUTE=Imdb Top 250, IMDb Rating and Studio (2).psf|imdb.dll|Imdb Movie(cast)2.psf

of course i should use both scripts, not only the (cast)2 one.... now it works perfectly! So for all IMDB users: I now use a batch which launches Imdb Movie(cast)2.psf and Imdb Top 250, IMDb Rating and Studio (2).psf and it will nicely import your movie from IMDB (I don't need the poster).
I also updated the Imdb People Photo.psf for the People Photo import, the only thing not working now ist the Amazon poster import...
Thanks so much Ivek for keeping PVD alive!

I'm afraid but now it doesn't download the Actors at all. Am I doing something wrong?
When updating a movie, the (existing) Actors will not be updated with the Character names.

Hello Ivek,
since we need Proxomitron I use the Imdb Movie Info(title).psf script and the normal IMDB plugin, wich works ok but does not download the duration/length of the movie and does not download the character name of the actors.
If I try the Imdb Top 250, IMDb Rating and Studio (2).psf script, PVD freezes sometimes, when it works it downloads the duration, though.
But the missing character names are bad. I think this is what another user has written here: http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php/topic,4130.0.html

How do you mean? I enter it dd.mm.yy which automatically generates dd.mm.yyyy. See pictures.

I updated from 0.9.9.21 to 1.0.2.6 and I like it very much. There's just one thing that seem's to work different or is a bug.
I add a movie with "seen" not checked and no "seen date". Some days later I watch the movie and another day later I enter the "seen date" and apply changes. On old version the "seen" checkbox was now checked with seen date behind. On new version "seen" checkbox still not checked with no date behind.

Can confirm for the german Amazon plugin. It worked, until the update came out.... has this been tested?
