As it can be seen here (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?topic=1812.msg8596#msg8596), or even better here (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1812.0;attach=591;image) I have a custom-selectlist-field "DVD Case #:"
The actual last case always contains it's number and the starting movie ID for it and in it. For instance:
DVD Case #: 3: 02613 - 03876
DVD Case #: 4: 03877 -
The last one doesn't have latest movie ID, cause it wasn't filled in yet with discs, and I couldn't predict or anticipate which ID will be the last one.
Recently, I finally filled DVD case #4 closing it with a movie with ID 5329, so the value for this case had to be "4: 03877 - 05329" then.
While waiting what will be decided for a full multiple editor feature suggestion, is there a way to manually, or however, edit this value somewhere (outside PVD's interface?) so to update all records at once?
I hope I was clear enough, but willing to clarify further.

Export a list of movies with [DVD Case #] set to "03877 -" and re-import the list after you have changed those to "4: 03877 - 05329". It might take a minute or two. ;)

Answer for dummies, please:
<DVD Case #:>{%value= ???}</DVD Case #:>
Experimenting values >300? ;D

Ok, I'll join Zacca later ;D
But, still..
< ???>{%value=DVD Case #:}</ ???>

{%value=DVD Case #: custom="true"} (so others understand, your field name includes the ":")
If you followed nostra on twitter like you're supposed to, you'd know about the Personal Video Database Export Templates Manual (http://www.videodb.info/help/hlp_export.html). It answers this, and any other question you could possibly ask regarding templates. ;D
I suppose you have to be able to deduce "custom," in the context of a "parameter," must be a boolean value. :-\

Rick,
Thank you.
Btw, how old are you Rick, if I'm not indiscreet? I'm 41, if you know what I mean.
-
Funny you should ask. I was recently wondering why my profile says I'm 45. Then it came to me—I originally set it so it would show my age when I starred in Casablanca. I wouldn't want to confuse anyone by reporting an age that doesn't match my picture. But that was two years ago. I can't be bothered updating the birth date every year, so I'll just leave it. So now I'm 110—one year older than nostra. I'll have to let him explain how that is so. He was 38 in his photo and 84 now, but I figure he must be closer to 506. He probably just wants you to think he's younger than me, without having to lie any more than necessary. :-\

Wow! What was that? Pass it by, I want it too. ;D

When you're as old as me, the flashbacks become more frequent. ;)

Yeah, I can imagine. I've been told by my folks about flashes in their backs.
