Change the field type to "select list" or "multiselect list."

Right, I see where it should be...but it just doesn't show up there. I've set it to be called "Network" btw (the custom field)

Please read some posts about skinning, and reply to those if you have questions.

For Group by, see attached.

I read the manual, tried to modify the skin, and failed miserably. Lol.

Also, it's not in my View -> Group By menu.

1) make it accessible in Tree View

Select it in View - Group by.

2) How to make it displayed on top of "Studio" in the Main Information, instead of as a custom field.

Your in luck. Nostra has just posted fabulous Skin Engine Manual, and there are lots of posts about custom skins (example).

Okay. I will enter it manually. Can someone show me how to 1) make it accessible in Tree View and 2) How to make it displayed on top of "Studio" in the Main Information, instead of as a custom field. Thanks!

(Maybe I could just rename one of the fields...)

I don't think using a script to get just one field is worth the bother, especially considering AllMovie doesn't have all series, and for those it does, doesn't always record Released by (which is usually a network in the case of series). It will always be more efficient to find and enter this manually.

rick.ca, of course it's not too difficult to add manually. I mean, I only have like 25 TV series, so it wouldn't be a problem. I was just wondering if maybe one day it could be done automatically for me XD

Can someone help me configure AllMovie+?

I want to use it on TV series to snag the Network (Released by) field, without giving me any more metadata (including writing to the URL field).

Thanks!

I should add Network is available on AllMovie as Released by. But it's not the most complete source for series, and Released by is not always included, even if there is a record. You can get it using my AllMovie+ script. Cool in Tree View? I don't know... :-\

Network is available in the information downloaded from the TVDb (according to the API) but there's no field for it in PVD. It's not available at IMDb. Since it only applies to series, would it be too difficult to add it manually to a custom field?

Maybe I'm missing something, but can either the TVDB or IMDB plugins be enhanced to include the network that the show originally aired on? Not only is this something I wanna know, but it would also be cool for the tree view.
