You can't sort by such fields
just out of curiosity: why not?

As far as I experienced this any CSV or Excel file is good for it. I successfully reproduced the error with this CSV:

Code: [Select]
Translated Title;Translation;Lge;Subs
Sample Movie;Latin; English;Latin, English
Sample - The Movie;Latin;;Latin, English
Sample 2;Latin; English;Latin, English
The Crying of Sample 3;Latin; English;Latin, English
The Secret Life of Sample;Latin;;Latin, English
21 Samples;English; Latin;English, Latin
In Sample;English; Latin;English, Latin

The highlighted bit of the bug report says
Code: [Select]
008cbfe0     cmp     dword ptr [edx+eax*4], 0
Maybe you can make sense of it...

Thanks a lot again!

How can I convince the program to sort (very important) / group by "Location"?

You can't sort by such fields, grouping is the same as with any other field View -> Group by -> Media Location

Importing s.th. to the "Translation" field leads to a crash. I tried from CSV and Excel...

Please provide more detailed information:
1. What is the error message? (send me the bug report if one was generated)
2. Post a sample csv file that produces the error

My question #1,000 and 1,001... sorry...

After transferring my movies to PVD I stumbled upon two other things, the first is something very important, the second not:
  • How can I convince the program to sort (very important) / group by "Location"?
  • Importing s.th. to the "Translation" field leads to a crash. I tried from CSV and Excel...

Thanks again.
