Sorry, but I do not think that many users will need such a feature, so its unlikely to be implemented any time soon.

Tools -> Preferences -> Movies -> Automatically set IDs for new movies with Indexing options should help.

Yes I that I know but I am very interested in this for Custom Items

I wonder how, or whether it is possible to make custom items automatically numbering films.
As it is generally in the index or reindex films.

The first film marked with a number

1.

and the next is automatically numbered

2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

 ..... and so on to
