At Preferences - Miscellaneous set Playlist type to something WMP understands—probably M3U.

When I select a movie from the list on the left and right-click it and then select "play", it won't start in Windows Media Player IF the movie consists of two separate files. Instead, it only displays a short text in Notepad:

?»?[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=2
File1=H:\Movies\The Bank Job\The Bank Job - CD1.avi
File2=H:\Movies\The Bank Job\The Bank Job - CD2.avi
Version=2

What is wrong?
