You can only get false positive as i never pack viruses into the PVD installation package ;)
Please report this to Avast developers.

Hey,
This evening I got this virus alert from avast5
Object: \..\PVD\PLUGINS\FAFFES.DLL
Infectant: Win32Malware-gen
Processus: viddb.exe

I have made a scan at this adress http://www.virustotal.com/
Here is the result: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/86bb75d538312eaca450c9bbf7f6dcd03960bc32295f27decbcca6679a7d2f32-1267773185

Some antivirus analyzes the file as positive for example :
Kaspersky    7.0.0.125    2010.03.05    Trojan.Win32.Siscos.op
McAfee-GW-Edition    6.8.5    2010.03.04    Trojan.Siscos.OP

This may be a false positive, what do you think of this?

Regards
anything
