You can't save the dataabase on a mapped or network drive when using it locally. Install the Firebird  server (on the PC where the database is stored) and use the File -> Connect to server function to open the database located on a remote drive.

I am running version 0.9.9.14 on Windows XP.  I have been trying to save or copy the database to a mapped network drive.  I get an error if I try to save there.  I also get the same error if I copy the database there and try and open it with PVD.  The network drive is working fine and I was able to scan and find all my movies from this same network drive.  It just seems to have a problem with the database being on a network drive.  I wanted to share the database so it was available on different computers.  I have attached a copy of the error message.
