Welcome, sakau.

It sounds like it's minimizing to tray—is there a PVD icon in your tray? If you don't want this behaviour, remove PVDtoTray.dll from your plugins folder.

As a general matter, if you have a problem with programs or processes not terminating, using the Task Manager to do so is usually a faster solution. Even better, use Process Explorer.

If I minimize the program, it completely closes it. This is very frusturating. Also, there is no way to reopen the database without rebooting that I have found because I think that the program thinks it's still in use. I'm using Windows 7, but saw similar problems in Windows Vista, with UAC disabled. These problems make this software virtually unusable for me. Anyone seen these problems and know how to fix them?
