Yesterday IMDB changed their site's design.

Today no picture can be downloaded, ...

Try IMDB Movie Photo (Poster) script, can be found here:
http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php/topic,4009.msg19279.html#msg19279

I tested, it should also work on PVD 1 version.

Important information for all PVD users:

All IMDB scripts to download posters, unfortunately, does not work anymore.

IMDB has started to use a secure https Amazon.com link to posters on their Movies sides.

I found the solution, Imdb Movie Poster(2) script and Imdb Movie Photo(Poster)(2) script now works again.

On the aspect of the additional solution for the transfer of posters, for more information about these solutions in a day or two.

Scripts are attached.

Scripts can be found at this link:

One thing I don't understand is why the episodes where added (when refreshing the IMDB info) now and not previously. The poster psf has nothing to do with the series information!....
Could somebody explain that to me in no-technical language?

Good programming is a wonderful thing, isn't it?  Sometimes you do the "right" thing in a program and it fixes something in another.  Non-technical enough for you?   ;D

In short, Ivek's scripts manipulate / format / save the url that is in the database (or add a url if not in the database).  If the url is messed up, the plug-in won't work, so if it gets fixed, it will.  Most programmers wouldn't do that (not their job), but back to point #1, good programming is a wonderful thing.

It seems that with the new script, everything is back to normal. I have not tried to add a new title, but for instance in "Beowulf (2016) the episodes where added (they where not added with the old scripts) and the Photo Poster (2) psf worked.

One thing I don't understand is why the episodes where added (when refreshing the IMDB info) now and not previously. The poster psf has nothing to do with the series information!....

Thank you Ivek for your great help!!!

P.S. While using the "Import Movie Information using IMDB Plugin" button on PVD v.1 for the TV Series "The Royals" S02E06, I get again the above mentioned (see my first post here) the title corrupted. Any help ?

Thank you for your feedback, but I have to end so busy that unfortunately I can not even look at what is happening in the IMDB web sites. Thank you for your understanding.

Ivek, if you want to tackle this, let me know (PM? ... keep this thread 'clean') and we'll get at it.  My personal e-mail is available to you, via PM...just say the word.

Thank you, my reply is sent to your PM.

Yeah, Ivek it's about time someone rewrote the IMDB plugin  ;D.

As a batch file, the plugin COULD actually be replaced by (lots of) scripts. It would be much slower, but it could maintained.  Ivek has written several scripts for IMDB (divide & conquer) and I'm game to contribute.
