I agree with you, there are some potential uses for creating aligned columns with tabs.

Thanks to respond. It would be good to view horizontal tab for alignment of text but if is not possible ...

I'm guessing the program code for the text-field edit control (used for editing the comment field in "modify" mode) allows the entry of horizontal tab characters, but the code to display the text in the normal view simply doesn't display non-printing characters?

It all depends on the tools and libraries Nostra used to build Personal Video Database. They can be inconsistent in their handling of these things.

Just a little question,
I tried to put Horizontal Tab (#09) in comment field but the space doesn't appears in normal mode. When i look comment field in modified mode the space appears. Is It Normal?
