I see, the "+"-symbol is on the very right side of the mass editors toolbar -- you have to move the limiter to the very right to see it ...

It is not removed. Maybe you have selected a field type that is not supported by this feature?

In Version 1.0.2.7 the feature from 1.0.2.6 "A possibility to add values instead of replacing in Mass Editor" has been removed -- I hope only by mistake because it is a very useful option for me.
