Add the video.info  IP address into your local HOSTS file.
For Windows:
- Start ->run -> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc
- Rht Clk on file HOSTS  (note no extension)
- Open with Notepad or any plain text editor
- add a line:  178.254.0.44   videodb.info

*ALERT
If the site page IP address ever changes, you will of course be forcing a connexion to a non-existent server.
- the entry will need changing

fyi.: you can verify all this by similarly using RUN -> ping -t videodb.info
or
tracert videodb.info

I expect you will find very high packet travel times.

ping -t videodb.info
-> you will observe high ping times, hence your timeouts

I have been having problem coming to this forum for the past few weeks.

When I try visiting this forum, it takes long time to load and after waiting for like 30secs to 60secs, I get an error message from SMF saying "Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.". Says Database error.

Here are some of the stuffs I tried:
- tried using chrome, IE and firefox
- tried clearing cookies
- tried clearing cache
- tried doing above from another PC in same LAN. Same error.
- my IP is banned?

I am now connecting using another PC at work and it works but still getting time out once a while.

All other sites are loading fine from my PC.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
