Okay.  Problem Solved.  I just had to create a new file.  Have to start over, but worth it.  Thanks.

Check if the file really exists and it is not write protected. Check the access permissions for the database file. PVD should be able to read and write it. If you have a backup, then try reverting to a previous version.

I had previously installed PVD and loaded up all of my movies.  It was an awesome program.  I had to restart my computer for other reasons and when I tried to restart PVD it couldn't find the information and instead gave me the error

6:I/0 error for file "C:\USERS\ME\DOCUMENTS\PERSONALVIDEODATABASE\MOVIES.PVD"
Error while trying to write to file
Access is denied.

Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements
Error code: 24

After clicking OK another window came up reading:

cannot disconnect database with open transactions (1 active)
Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements
Error code: 37

It then opens PVD with no data.  What's the what here?  I have since done an uninstall with Revo and reinstalled only to receive the same errors.  I loved this program and even donated to support it "Simon Kayser"  before all of this madness.  Please help!
