Maybe to this
Perhaps it would not be these problems, if I had a script The new url address for search results and also small correction in code for Search results section.
earlier solution for created the problem.

When will Nostra return?

After deleting the Plugins folder and checking for an update forcing the software to download all required Plugins again, I can now gather all of the missing information (Only by entering the URL and then updating the information Ctrl+Alt+I) I also made sure I had Silent mode for plugins checked down the bottom of the plugins page. I hope this helps somebody else too.

EDIT* I still needed Imdb Movie(2).psf in script folder and Imdb Movie + imdb.batch in plugins folder for this to work

oh, the other piece of critical information I left out: I had to exit PVD and restart it before the changes to default plug-ins were in effect. I think.

same difficulty "no movies found :(."

I went to tools, preferences, plugins and highlighted alternates for each of the current plugins and clicked "set as default" for the following types "movie information" (I chose TheMovieDB [en]), "poster import" (I chose Amazon [en]), and "people information" (chose EGAFD_People).

Something's borked with one or all of the prior plugins used to parse the webpages (imdb probably). These others seem to do as well and I no longer get "movie not found :("

I'm sure there's another solution upstream in this thread but I'm damned if I understand it (work in IT too).

I work as a system builder and I know windows quite well, however I'm not very good with other software. I have already removed every possible trace of the previous installation before I installed again. I now have 67 titles I need to add in :(

:( I simply can't get it to work. I have read all of the pages on this topic again and tried everything mentioned again. I have tried 3 versions of the software and still I can't get any more information to be populated besides IMDB URL and Rating

I do not know if this will help you:

Try again to remove the program. Even before the reinstall the program, find if
remaining parts of the folders and files and remove them (if possible, if you know how, also clear the register, if there are residues records program - probably will not be necessary), only then reinstall the program.

It may be something better now.

Does it matter that I'm still running version 0.9.9.21?

If you wish ...

deleted pvdconf.ini - no change
(just a total reset of the settings and the loss of my customized websearches)

Below is an explanation of what would first need to do before you remove the
pvdconf.ini , but first to make a copy of it and store it somewhere else for example, that in pvdconf.ini file (since there are may be some additional settings PVD, for removal  pvdconf.ini file, settings  will be lost)  the settings, which you could also come later (after re-installing PVD or after removal pvdconf.ini file and restart PVD and leaving only this, the create pvdconf.ini new file).

Try this Movie Imdb (2) script.

If this script causes the same problem, then I do not know more. what is wrong with other users, because for me it works fine, no problems.

Imdb Movie(2) script is attached.

BTW:
Will now have the time, that Nostra makes a correction for Imdb plugin.

I have the same problem.

deleted pvdconf.ini - no change
(just a total reset of the settings and the loss of my customized websearches)

complete uninstall und reinstall.
still no change.

imdb script says "no movie found" when searching by title.
works if an imdb link is stored already.

I'm running out of ideas :)

@gear - I have tried every possible alternation for plugins for all of the check boxes, it doesn't make a difference. The only information I seem to receive is IMDB Rating and URL.

Just to add my small experience of the same: Check the "Poster" again, but switch your default, from Amazon.uk to Amazon.com and make shure that all the items are checked.

This will solve -temporarily- your "No movies found" message.

I have searched in ever area and I can't find the file "pvdconf.ini"  ???

:( There is definitely no file on my computer anywhere with that name. I just don't understand, it's somewhat communicating with IMDB because of the rating and URL.

No matter which plug in I use for "Movie Information" it returns no results besides URL amd IMDB Rating (If I use your script). This has never happened to me in 3 years of using this software. It started only a few days ago. I haven't changed anything at all :(

Find pvdconf.ini and remove it - find more explanations here.

BTW:
Perhaps someone else has had a solution to the problem.
Maybe Nostra ...

but it skips straight to image drac3 (It will only add the URL and IMDB Rating) - Somewhere along the lines I am not getting the rest of the movie/file information still

Hmm ...
Only with Imdb plugin try again to the download data info.

For me everything works OK.
