No. But you can export the URL field and use a spreadsheet to extract the ID and check for duplicates. You could also import the ID back to a custom field, if there's any point in doing so. Some other sites use them a reference, so they might be useful for doing searches.

Hello,

Is there any way to add in the database a custom item containing IMDB ID automatically? The reasoning behind this View > Group By> IMDB ID though found out duplicates fast.
Atm I've added the IMDB ID custom item as select list and I complete it manually with the IMDB id from the url field. Or maybe there is a faster way to identify duplicates, I know of the optimize database way but I want to be able to see what i delete so i can delete them from the HDD too, or gift the CD/DVD if I have more then one.

PS: Don't know if its relevant but i run the last version of PVD (stable one) on Windows 7 X64 Ultimate.
