Proxy setting in PVD should work.
There are fields for authenticating through proxy.

You can either check with lan administrator and get proxy settings or check Internet Explorer setting for the proxy that it is using.
If I.E is using a proxy.pac. Enter the full proxy.pac url into web browser and you should be able to download it. Edit it with notepad to find proxy settings.

If big company - maybe search intranet for proxy information

thank you for your answer, but maybe I don't explained myself very well.

In order to connect the proxy it asks for a login (lets say usd1 and psw1) and, subsequently an authentication (usd2 and psw2). I'm able to log in with usd1 and psw1 filled in the option blanks you said, but there's no way to authenticate.

I try to explaine better how the LAN seems to work: My PC asks for usr1 and psw1 when I turn it on (they are for windows normal log in), and I'm connected to the LAN (outlook, software floating licenses etc etc).
When I need to browse any website, my browser asks for an authentication with usd2 and psw2, differents from the previous. I can't perform this step in PVD...

Hi!
I'm new here and I need some help...
My connection here at work, is behind a proxy.
In order to connect to the internet I need to
- login with a username and a password: It's okay, I inserted them in the options
- authenticate my connection through a different username ad a different password...

now, when I try to retrieve infos from IMDB, for example, the login goes well, but the authentication doesn't: It seems to me there's no way to insert usr and psw for it... could you help me?
I'm my for further clarifications...
thank you
Giuseppe
