Hm, I will think about it

I think I had in mind...

An option in preferences so that all Series genre information (may apply to other information also) is included in the episode genre.  Maybe a tick box where you can choose to enforce the episode genre to be the same as the series. And another option where every genre assigned to the series is replicated in the episode, but they don't have to be identical, thus for highly variable series such as Nova, you can have variability for each episode.

Thanks

Thanks Nostra,

I was hoping there may have been a general setting somewhere as I have a quite a few series to update.  Not the end of the world though. Something to consider in the new version??

Thanks again.

You can select all the episodes and click the Edit button on the toolbar. Multiple Movies Editor will show up where you can define a genre for all selected episodes.

Is there a way to easily (automatically) get the Genre of each TV Series applied to each episode?
(At the moment, importing into Jriver MC means I get no genre information for TV shows as each episode in PVD currently has no genre information)

Thanks
