Yes, it is a know bug. It will be fixed in the next version, sorry for the inconvenience.

only happends on automated import, not if I select the import manually.

I saw the same thing just the other day.  I wanted to increase my font size so I could keep my high-res screen and still read the text easily.  In my display settings, I changed my font from 96 dpi to 120 dpi.  I ended up with the same broken display in PVD.  Needless to say, I changed my DPI back to the default.

Using German language, but willing to test English - if I find a way to change it ;-)
