You need to set the type to "Memo".

Long text is a single line long text ;)

First of all, let me say thank you for this really very useful program. I've just tried it a few days and like it a lot.

I'm trying to use some custom fields / items to put IMDB and Allmovie reviews in. I've created the fields in the "custom items" dialogue and the reviews are shown as they are supposed to. But in the movie skin, the fields look like they are "short text" (see the attached screenshot). I have definitely selected "long text" though.

Maybe I'm missing something or got the difference between short and long text wrong. But I'd like the fields to look like the "comments" and "description" field, with multiple lines.
