I suppose you didn't realize the statue's lack of facial expression and genitals is meant signify the virtue of humility. Please try to maintain the dignity of the award. ::)  ;D

And the winner is...nostra! :D

I'd ask him to make a speech, but he's got too much work to do.

I think I did, but I didn't save/overwrite any of them.

As I said, it is unlikely to be WordPad. Just get the plugin and observe if the roles are retrieved.

Have you opened those files in WordPad before sending to me?

I've used WordPad whenever viewing/editing any PVD document files.  Could it have done that?

Have you opened those files in WordPad before sending to me? If yes, then maybe it could have done that, but I really doubt it. You must have some app or hardware that modifies your traffic like antivirus-, adblock-, firewall software or maybe the software on your router or modem.

Is it possible you viewed them in a text editor set to strip invisible characters?

I have no idea.  Is there a setting somewhere that controls this?

It should be smth on your PC for sure, but unfortunately I can't tell what exactly it is.

Get the new IMDB plugin. It should handle your strange traffic correctly.

The files you sent me indicate that html documents you get does not contain any spaces, line breaks etc. The roles parser relies on spaces and does not work with such documents.

Now you need to answer me: why do you get all the invisible characters stripped?????

My 2 cents

Edit pvdconfig.ini and inspect/overwrite appropriate sections with this. Be careful, the last section line defines Skin.

Sorry, I did not have time to look at the debug files. Stay tuned. I will probably check them during weekend.

So, did the debug and/or html files posted above provide any useful information?
