Just a note that it looks like if you want file info to be read properly, new mediainfo.dll has to be downloaded and put into the root folder of PVD.
Download full MediaInfo here

and extract/copy mediainfo.dll to a location above

Save the working mediainfo.dll file so you can copy and use it again. The new mediainfo.dll file will almost certainly cause you the problem of PVD not starting and giving you an error. Also save the pvdconf.ini so that you can restore the old PVD settings. I tried it. PVD refused to start, gave me an error, and at the same time lost all settings for PVD.

Interesting, but no problem for me. I tried it before posted. Maybe it's about Windows? I'm using Winn11? The old mediainfo.dll suddenly stopped to read video bitrates for some files, that's why I switched it to a newer version. On the other hand I don't see what it could have with PVD configuration...
