In this version, too, auto hidden task bar wouldn't show up over PVD maximized.

What do you mean?

Actually, it's worst. Once PVD started, SOMETIMES no other program could be brought in front of PVD's window (by Alt+Tab, for instance, nor clicking on it's icon on a taskbar), until PVD's window is minimized by user, no matter if PVD's window is maximized or resized.

If Windows option to auto hide taskbar is checked, If PVD is maximized I can't invoke taskbar by moving cursor to the lower edge of screen, so I have to press WIN button on a keyboard to invoke it.

It was the same with PVD 1.0.23 beta

Sorry for my English.

This is very strange. I have never heard about such behavior before and it definitely is not happening here. Maybe you use the pvdtotray plugin. Try removing it from PVD\Plugins directory. If it does not help, then post some screenshots of your desktop.

Removed pvdtotray.dll long time ago, sam thing again. Using Win7, used WinXP, same thing again with 1.x versions. No such problem with v.9x. (Both versions installed, neither portable)

First of all Nostra - Thanks for  great piece of software.  Just new to it but find it really really useful.  I think I may have discovered a slight bug in the RC - when I import movie information from IMDB, all the plot keywords (tags) are no longer imported - only the few that are shown on the unexpanded list on  the IMDB website.  I have configured the IMDB plug-in to import all tags but doesn't seem to work in the RC.  Great piece of kit though.  ;D

The problem with keywords is fixed in IMDB Plugin version 0.9.8.18, let me know if there are other issues.

Tested zipped version on two XP SP3 machines with different antivirus.
In one of them (with Comodo Internet Security) IMDB plugin does not update. The program checks and acts normally, but when it restarts IMDB plugin is still .17 version. I suppose it has something to do with Comodo but couldn't find an explanation looking through the settings.

A little bug: The Exit option on the Personal Video Database menu does nothing at all.

Something that annoys me: I hate mouse, but I couldn't find a way to access some options without it (the right click options, the main menu). ¿Is it just my silliness -again- or a design thing?. If it is the second option I would really appreciate a way to use the keyboard.

I don't know if it's bug, but some movies need incredibly much more time to get data from IMDb with this RC (to "get through /technical"), than with the 0.9.x version (or it's updating the database in issue in this case?). It's like minute or so with RC per some movies, unlike dozen of seconds with 0.9.x version, no matter how many times to retrieve data for the same movie.

Both versions installed on the same machine, and the movie is Tron: Legacy

It is. See IMDb Movie Connections.

Well, it is not really a bug. I have change the whole movie/person comparisons to use URLs first and as URLs are not indexed as Titles and Names the whole process takes much longer. I will take a look at this and will maybe change it back to the way it was.

Right. Just a fatal flaw. ;D

Just musing...I wonder how many issues would be resolved if the program indexed and used URLs from a designated primary source (the obvious choice for most users being the IMDb). The first step in any process of adding records would be to get the correct URL/key. Records not represented at the source could be assigned an internal key included in the same index.

A bug, I guess... But some very minor thing: The tool tip for the folder symbol next to "File Path:" says "Always show". That doesn't make sense to me. ???

And another thing... In version 0.9.9.x the file import provided quite a lot of details for the audio and video streams. Something like "XviD" or "DivX3" or, for Audio, "MPEG-1 Audio layer 3". With version 1.0.2.5 it only says "MPEG-4 Visual" instead of "XviD", "DivX3 Low" and alikes and "MPEG Audio" instead of "MPEG-1 Audio layer 3" or "MPEG-1 Audio layer 2", ect. Is that on purpose?

As confirmed here, paste-from-clipboard-cover/cd doesn't work.

Which skin you are using. Then it will be easier to solve the problem.

I can confirm this. I am using Windows 7 x64 and have the task bar on the right side but the outcome is the same. If you set the task bar to auto hide (what I normally don't do  ;D) and maximize PVD there is no chance to access the task bar.
