Anybody knows how to un-install PVD? It doesn't show in the "Uninstall Programs". Simply delete all files and re-install?
Most obliged for any answer(s).
There is a file to uninstall the program. See the attached images.
I think, however, that there is no need to uninstall the program, whereas the solution for this could be here.[/url
Thank you Ivek23 for your quick reply. But...
1) Downloaded the files you suggest but does not work.
2) There is no PVD shortcut (Your picture 2) on the Programs Menu.
3) There is no such file "uninst" (Your picture 2) in the dir.
4) Files in my directory, as per picture included.
For the rest tomorrow will answer.
It is true, you are missing two unins000 file and the program can not uninstall.
I attach
unins000 file in the
unins000.zip file. Download, unzip and
unins000 file copy in PVD folder in Program Files. Now you can remove the entire PVD folder in Program Files.
Removal of PVD should be a last option.
I would first try in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Personal Video Database folder remove
pvdconf.ini , but first to make a copy of it and store it somewhere else for example, that in
pvdconf.ini file (since there are may be some additional settings PVD, for removal
pvdconf.ini file, settings will be lost) the settings, which you could also come later (after re-installing PVD or after removal
pvdconf.ini file and restart PVD and leaving only this, the create
pvdconf.ini new file).
You can also try this:
I only hope my backup and CSV file will work.
Restore database will operate correctly only if you save the data in the database before the
IMDb plugin or Imdb Movie script began to tolerate wrong information or stop working.
You can try it reinstall PVD, the installation program copied and repair already existing files.
If this does not work
Removal of PVD should be a last option.
