Multiple CDs
« on: October 05, 2012, 07:40:05 pm »
I have finally found PVD for our growing digital movie and TV series collection. Great work guys!

Using v 1.0.2.3 on *Vista* Duh, sorry, Win 7

I have some movies that are two CDs, usually in separate folders. Being downright lazy I am hoping that someone has figured out an elegant way to link the two files. I tried episodes toolbar but can't really figure that one out. Is that the way to go and how do I link CD2 to CD1?

I still have to tidy up my TV series collection but generally they seem to be pretty good in PVD

Thanks

Dave

Welcome.

[File Path] can include any number of files, separated by a '|'. Play will wrap those in the playlist type specified in at Preferences > Miscellaneous > Playlist type. The outcome will depend on how your player handles that playlist type.

If that doesn't work, you can remux the files to one MKV container using MKVmerge.

Thank's rick. Sounds simple enough. Now to tackle those god-awful rars.

I hate to be Captain Obvious, but wouldn't it be easier to just keep the two CDs in the same folder? Why separate them in the first place?
