How can I use IMPaward so that it does not block my IP?
« on: January 27, 2010, 01:03:26 am »

The question is in the title.
Impaward holds posters for the biggest movies (roughly 20% of what I add to pvd) so I use it first for the good poster sizes they provide.
After downloading about 5 posters, I get blocked from ImpAward (or is it Google?) and can not search their website before about 24 hours.
Is there a trick to avoid that?

 Thanks in advance.

As I explained here, I suspect the plugin can be revised to avoid this, but that hasn't been done. The workaround is to use a Websearch instead.

  Thanks Rick,

Yes I saw that thread but did not find the proposed workaround in it.
I was kind of hoping someone found a way (I tried using yahoo.com instead of google in the plugin but being a total noob I was not successful)

I now use a Google image websearch and if the poster is on IMPaward I usually see it in the first results.
