combine two databases
« on: July 13, 2009, 08:48:28 pm »
Hi,
I just downloaded your software. This is exactly the software I searched for years and now I found it ;) Thank you so much for this.
But now to my problem: I made two databases which I would like to combine at one. I don't want to add the videofiles, because it would take too much time getting all the posters and infos again.
Is there any possibility to do this or is there any feature planned in the next version?
Thanks, noboddy

Currently you can only export your existing records from one database as CSV files and import them  into another database. Unfortunately you can't preserve posters this way, so you will need to batch download the posters again.

A possibility to merge databases and copy/paste data from one db to another is planed for the next major release.

Thank you for your fast answer! I guess I'll wait for the next major release. Thanks
